SciBite hosts its inaugural User Group Meeting

SciBite hosted its very first User Group Meeting on Tuesday 19th September 2017, at the Wellcome Genome Conference Centre in Cambridgeshire.

Registrations had to be closed early and attendance reached capacity, with 41 attendees from 25 organisations across the U.S. and Europe.

Our keynote speakers included Samiul Hasan, Director, Analytics Solutions Engineer and Giovanni Dall'Olio Bioinformatician, from GlaxoSmithKline, giving us an insight into Steps to Making TERMite/DOCstore Viral in a Large Organization, and Dr Helen Parkinson, Head of Molecular Archival Resources, EMBL-EBI, speaking on The Ontology Landscape.

The day was interspersed with networking breaks and ended on a Q&A for our SciBite panel, followed by a drinks reception.
